There are simply no words for that game.
4-0 down in the third period, most teams would’ve folded. Not these lads. They dug deep, found another gear, and produced one of the most breathtaking comebacks Milton Keynes has ever seen.
Goal after goal, the belief grew. From despair to destiny - they battled back to 4-4 by the end of period 3.
Overtime came. A 4-on-3 disadvantage for the first 45 second. Somehow, they killed it off.
Then penalties. All eyes on our number one, Heath Prentice. Just 17 years old, but with ice in his veins. Under the heaviest pressure, he stood tall, fearless - and didn’t concede once.
From 4-0 down to a 5-4 win. A night for the history books.
And tomorrow? We go again. Another battle. Same fight.
